About Us

The Southwest Environment Alliance (SEA) represents variety from of a number of groups and passionate individuals who care about the environment. Collectively we advocate protecting, restoring and improving the biodiversity values of this region. The main role of SEA is to provide opportunities for networking and a platform for a coordinated approach to funding applications & local environmental issues.

South West Woody Weeds Action Team (SWWAT)

Group History:

SWWAT started up in April 2019 with the intention of raising awareness of Sweet Pittosporum and other woody weeds and implementing an on-ground works programs.

Weed flyers

The Southwest Environment Alliance in partnership with the Glenelg Shire Council have developed 10 weed flyers. The flyers were developed to support landholder weed identification skills. The weeds selected were based on the weeds most commonly asked about at group meetings.
