    Native or weed?

    Posted on: 14 September 2021

SEA is happy to announce that the new guide; Native or weed? Plants that can be confused in the Portland district is ready for distribution. You can download an electronic copy from our resources page, email us at facilitator@sealliance.org.au to organise a hard copy, or talk to your local environmental group. A box has been left with all of our member groups.

The new guide will help to strengthen the the plant ID skills of volunteers and nature enthusiasts who live in Portland and the surrounding districts.

The guide has been compiled by Ecologist Jodie Honan from Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation for the Southwest Environment Alliance. Many of our members and project partners generously shared images for the publication.

This project was funded by the Glenelg Hopkins CMA Victorian Landcare Grants program, Warrnambool and Districts Australian Plant Society and the Southwest Environment Alliance.
