Is a pretty farm a productive farm?

    Posted on: 4 October 2023

Join us for an inspirational chat with local farmer John Keiller from Cashmore Park. Learn about the impact landcare methods have had on the triple bottom line; people, profits and the planet.

Over the past 20 years John and his family have committed to integrating agriculture and landcare. They have set up their very own Dung Beetle Nursery, planted thousands of trees and erect 100’s of km’s of fencing to protect and restore wetlands, creeks, and drains. Holistic farming embraces concepts like less chemicals, less methane and rewilding. Blue skies and sustainable sheep production rank high on John’s agenda and he is always thinking about what’s next. If you have ever thought about adopting landcare methods on your farm, come along and find out how it’s done! Connect with people who can help you get started and be inspired by the success of John’s pretty little farm.
